God is teaching us patience, endurance and certainly godly knowledge as He walks us through this life of trials." That can be a very hard lesson to learn. WOF (at least in my opinion) has always treated the Lord like a vending machine; simply push the right buttons and you get what you want. The problem with that kind of thinking is that God is a great king and has His own thoughts, ideas and motivations. He's not there simply to dole out what we ask for, nor is He "just a sugar daddy". WOF tends to treat Him as such, and elevates (in my mind) the creation (man) over the Creator (God).
