This speech is from a few weeks before WW2 began.
When listening to this, it struck me that this might really resonate particularly with conservatives since Republicans tend to be patriotic (aka "nationalistic").
People hearing Hitler for themselves, in English, could possibly sound rational to those who already verge on being antisemitic!
